Installing the Software

Pocket PC Requirements:

• 64MB of internal memory or 32MB of internal memory and at least 64MB on a memory card
• Pocket PC 2003 or Mobile 5 operating system
• A device with a stylus is highly recommended

The game must be installed from a Windows-based PC running ActiveSync. Place your Pocket PC device in the cradle (or other connection device) that allows it to sync with your PC before you begin the installation process.

1. Download the installation software.
2. After the download is complete, find the application SetupInheritTheEarthPPC.exe on your hard drive and double-click on its icon or name. This will start the set-up program. At the first window click the Install button.
3. After you have accepted the license agreement, you will be asked to enter your registration information. If you have not yet purchased a registration key, click the Purchase button to acquire a key.
4. You can install the software in your Pocket PC device's internal memory if there is enough space, or you can install the software entirely on a memory card, or you can install most of the game in one location and put the large voices file in a separate location, or you can choose not to install the voices.
5. Once the install is complete, locate the Games directory on your Pocket PC device and launch the game from the Inherit the Earth icon. The first time the game is started your device may ask to confirm you want to run the game. Click Yes. You should not be asked this question again.

Uninstalling the Software

1. An automatic uninstall can be performed from the Windows-based machine from which you originally installed the game.
2. Open the Add/Remove Programs control panel and find the entry for Inherit the Earth for Pocket PC. Double-click the entry to start the uninstall program.
3. Confirm you want to uninstall the game. You can choose to keep the configuration and saved game files, or you can have those deleted along with the game program and its data files.
4. It is possible to manually uninstall the game from your Pocket PC device. Please contact us at techsupport@wyrmkeep.com for help in this area.
