Hello again. I have returned after a long summer break and have decided to start my new story. Understand that I will be writing this story from my Ipad. Also understand that I'm not the best writer in the world.

This story is a continuation of What Remains.

Chapter 1: Impact

Night was descending and all across the Known Lands, Morphs we're turning in for the night for some well earned rest after a hard days work. In the night sky the stars we're starting to come out and the moon was high in the sky.

In the Rabbit village everyone was asleep except for a young male rabbit who looked to be around 14 or 15. This rabbit stared up at the night sky and wondered. He wondered what was up there as when he was younger his father would tell him stories of how the Humans would fly high in the sky with their strange machines.

As the rabbit stared at the stars he noticed something strange. One of the stars seemed to be getting brighter and strangely bigger. It was then the rabbit noticed the star was actually falling. The star zoomed over the village with a blazing tail of fire trailing behind it. The star made a loud noise as it zoomed over the village and disappeared over a nearby mountain. As the rabbit stared at where the star had landed disappeared to he heard a loud boom and saw a fiery glow briefly appear on the other side of the mountain. The sound could've woken every Morph in the Known Lands.

The rabbit continued to stare at the mountain for a few more moments before heading to bed. His head filled with visions of the falling star. He decided that tomorrow he would go and see where that star had landed. He laid his head on his pillow and closed his eyes letting darkness consume him.

Sorry if the chapter was short. Next time I'll try to make it longer.
