*echoes sentiment*

I would argue that a 15 year break is enough of a wait for a sequel to the game tho, maybe that's just me XD

It doesn't need to be that much of a schlepp, I mean, it could be done within the original game engine. Seriously... look at some of the stuff for sale on Steam and Impulse. People don't mind games that look "old", especially if it means they can work on / be ported to underpowered mobile devices.

Except if the sequel falls in an entirely different genre, but I think y'all should stick with what you do so well.

@AussieWolf: Yup, I've been away for... eish, I don't know, three years as well I think. Yes, I started here at the end of 2007 when I was in first year and I have a degree now. Wow, I've been using this password for a long time, otherwise I wouldn't have remembered it >.>

Anyways... my working hypothesis was that if I left and came back, something would have happened in the meantime. So much for that idea. *stifled sob*

@subspark: Yes! Spur these guys on! Let's see some action around here! Tongue

Okay, so... the bottom two look highly familiar, sans a rock here and there. But the top one: was that going to be the stream with the catnip? The flower is pretty conspicuous, in fact to me looks like it was intended to be an active object - I may be wrong though.

PS. Sheesh I haven't posted here in ages, and my message is still the most recent? How many people know of this place, anyway? Maybe once I have my gift-art queue out of the way, I should make/draw ItE fan art and put it on dA, try and get a few people interested and so forth. It won't help anyone if only like 3 people would know of/want the sequel to the game, things will never get anywhere at this rate

Eish. I can almost smell Kylas' breath, there. Looks like Rif ain't enjoying it much... or is he just bored to tears? smiley

Also, how come the Mouse is larger than the Fox?  huh cheesy
10  Inherit the Earth Forums / General Inherit the Earth Forum / My Music CD came on: April 02, 2008, 10:43:24 AM
The music CD I got as a prize came today... Smiley

But of course it said "Wolfie Inu" on the package, and I had to explain why... *blush*

The guy behind the counter thought it was hilarious... I was worried for a while though, since I had no proof "Wolfie Inu" was me... the address on my ID is for my old address and still says that I come from Transvaal Province, which hasn't existed for about 14 years now... but I did get the package, so that's OK.

And then I listened to it and remembered how I played ItE the first time and now I can't wait for ItE 2!!! Come on guys, sell it to me, it's Autumn down here already...  rolleyes Cheesy

I like this week's cartoon, not least because Rhene is slightly more realistic (I think I hear someone saying, "et tu, Wolfie?" smiley)

But ja, the characters are very expressive in this one. Especially Rhene's ears when she hits the deck... cheesy

And in the 3rd panel, where she's like, "If I ever get loose. You. Are. Dead."...

Good work! cheesy
13  Inherit the Earth Forums / Inherit the Earth Comic Strip Forum / Re: The story itself on: March 01, 2008, 01:51:42 AM
Yes, he looks unscrupulous. I just hope Rhene hasn't made a mistake by revealing she knows what's in the box.

Aha, the plot thickens... are we about to get some info on Sandy? Or is it just a passing thought...

BTW, I like the way Sandy was illustrated in the last panel: he looks determined and experienced, you can see the wolf within the cub if I can put it that way Smiley
15  Inherit the Earth Forums / General Inherit the Earth Forum / Re: A few ideas about an alternate Fate of the humans on: February 13, 2008, 07:46:06 AM
I'll take them in inverse order.

Scenario 3: OK, interesting. That idea did occur to me, and it may be plausible considering how long human devices seem to last in the game.

Scenario 2: One word: DEPRESSING! Cheesy

Scenario 1: Wow that's cool hey.

*looks at DeviantArt picture*

Oh... uh... O.o

'Kay now it's cool and scary... I wonder how the Morph would react to these half-cyborged maniacal monk type human thingies? I know I wouldn't like it... neither as a human, nor as a Morph Wink
